The Payroll office is responsible for the bi-weekly payroll processing and related functions of full-time and part- time University employees. As a State of Connecticut agency, University payroll is processed and checks are printed at the State Comptrollers office in Hartford.
The Payroll office records, verifies and calculates all attendance and leave time for full-time and part-time employees. In addition to normal payroll processing, the Payroll office processes all workers’ compensation claims.
Paycheck distribution is bi-weekly on the Thursday prior to the check date. Checks are available after 3pm on that Thursday.
