| Lambda Pi Eta: The department sponsors a chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Honors Society. LPH recognizes, fosters and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement in the field of communication. To qualify, a student must be a full-time COM major, have earned 60 credits with 12 in COM courses. S/he must also have a minimum 3.25 GPA in COM courses and a 3.0 overall GPA. Students must also be in the upper 35% of their class, demonstrate commitment to the field of communication and show high standards of professional character. Students may contact Dr. Katie Lever-Mazzuto, the faculty advisor, for information. | |
