Process
1. Spring semester: Faculty members interested in a ClassTech project submit a proposal to the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching . This program is for innovations using technologies already existing in our system (not to purchase new equipment or programs).
2.
Proposals are reviewed by a committee composed of CELT advisory committee
members, who will invite expertise when necessary. Up to five grants will
be awarded for the academic year.
3.
A decision regarding proposals will be made by Summer session following
and the applicants will be informed (by August 1).
4. The proposal is put into use in a Fall class.
5. In the Spring semester, the grantee makes a presentation on the experience and receives a $2,000 grant.
