WCSU SENIOR (GRADUATING) STUDENTS
December 2016, May 2017, and August 2017 graduates are eligible to participate in all WCSU Career Services offerings designed to connect graduating seniors with employers who have fulltime, professional, entry-level career opportunities and more. Employers may present information sessions, conduct interviews with students on the WCSU campus during the fall and spring semester and solicit resumes from graduating seniors for current opportunities. Seniors who wish to take advantage of opportunities should attend a Senior Focus Seminar and can sign up in WESTCONN WORKS. Graduating students are also encouraged to visit the Career Services Center, room 207, at the Midtown Campus, to receive information on employers, job opportunities, the recruiting process, resume uploads, interview schedules and much more.

WORKSHOPS & CAREER COUNSELING
Workshops on Resume Writing, Interviewing, Job Search Strategies, Networking, LinkedIn Profiles and more are scheduled on both campuses. Click here for the updated workshop schedule. The Annual Career Fair offers an opportunity to meet with 70+ potential employers on one day for full-time, part-time, and seasonal jobs, co-op, and internship openings. The year’s Career Fair is scheduled for April 5, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, in the O’Neill Center, Westside Campus. Many industries are represented to ensure a wide range of job and internship possibilities for students. All students are encouraged to attend.

Career Services maintains a small hard-copy library of career information, employer literature, graduate school information, and job search materials. Two computer stations are available for students to create and print resumes, conduct company research, and access job search information.
