Welcome to the WCSU
Herpetology Club

 

PURPOSE
The club is open to all students interested in education and conservation related to amphibians and reptiles, and is not limited to biology students. The club sponsors speakers, outreach, and regional/international field trips that engage members in animal care and community conservation efforts. Participation in the club can lead to educational and research opportunities for students interested in a deeper understanding of the subject.

EVENTS
Biology Seminar on October 22nd featuring Dr. Nathan J. Robinson's research on the Ecology of Sea Turtles. (WCSU Midtown campus, 4:00pm, SB Room 125).

Long Island Sound cold stunning trip- Saturday, December 13th 2014-December 14th 2014.

Leatherback conservation field expedition to Guanacaste, Costa Rica- January 6th 2015-January 13th 2015. (Please attend club meetings for more details).
