MAT 181 - Calculus I

4 semester hours

An introduction to the two fundamental tools of calculus - derivatives and integrals - from algebraic, graphical and data-based points of view. Calculus is presented as a problem-solving tool with applications to the physical and social sciences. Graphing and symbolic-manipulating calculator and computer tools are used throughout the course.
Prerequisite: MAT 133 or equivalent
