Jacqueline Decker

Jackie Decker has been designing and illustrating children’s products for more than 20 years. She is a book illustrator, an on-line game designer, and a licensed artist with an Internet licensing business ‘Jacqueline Decker Designs’.  Her work appears on products ranging from fabrics to ornaments, dinnerware and paper goods. A resident of Litchfield County, she earned her MFA in illustration from Hartford Art School, University of Hartford.

Decker’s publishing clients include, among others, Harcourt, Houghton Mifflin, Macmillan, McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press and Smithsonian Institute. Froggy went a-Courtin’, one of her many illustrated books, celebrates our country’s musical heritage and was published by the Smithsonian. Her other clients include Mattel, American Greetings, Fisher-Price, Universal Studio, and many more. Currently, Decker is a full-time professor at Tunxis Community College and previously taught at WCSU and Hartford Art School.
