How to Establish a Scholarship Fund
| Please Note: All scholarship application forms may be accessed electronically (using Adobe Acrobat Reader), but must be printed, completed, and submitted to the Alumni Office, located in University Hall Suite 106, in person or by mail: WCSU Alumni Office, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT 06810. |
$1,000 for the recipient's senior year. Awarded by the Alumni Association to one full-time student majoring in Education. The award is based solely on academic achievement.
Criteria:
Complete application process
Undergraduate majoring in Education
Minimum GPA of 3.5
Minimum of 90 credits completed at WCSU at the time of application
No more than 30 transfer credits
Two letters of recommendation:
one academic
one attesting to community/university involvement
Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee
Recipient must attend their school's honors convocation to receive the award

Several $1,000 awards are given each year to full-time undergraduate students. Recipients are chosen by the WCSU Alumni Association Scholarship Committee.

Minimum of 24 credits and a maximum of 90 credits completed at WCSU at the time of application
No more that 30 transfer credits
