Elaine Salem ’64

Elaine Salem ’64 earned her degree in Education and her career spanned many years as an elementary school teacher, an adult education instructor, and then a correctional education teacher and program coordinator for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Danbury, and a community-based program in Danbury for the CT Court Support Services Division. She was also a Special Academics Program counselor for Marist College and facilitated its paralegal studies and business degree programs for inmates at FCI, Danbury and FCI, Otisville in New York.

She is an Honorary Life Member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and a past Board Secretary. She currently serves as the chair of the Student Relations Committee.
