Welcome to WestConn’s Office of University Admissions! We imagine that by now you’ve explored a few areas of our website and have formed a favorable impression of our University. We hope, thus far, you’ve been able to find answers to the questions that are important to you. We want you to know that behind all of this technology there are real people—our admissions counselors—who would be happy to respond to any questions unanswered here.
What do we look for in a potential WestConn student? We want someone who will both benefit from and contribute to the University community. Although academic preparation is the most important factor in determining admission, non-academic activities can influence a decision and special extracurricular activities and talents are considered in the admissions process. During your admission process, you will discover that our staff is ready to help you, whether it’s in putting you in touch with a faculty member, or working with you to determine which academic route might best maximize your potential.
